As promised in my last post, I will be sharing with you product recommendations for the upcoming sale at Sephora. This will be a mix of my recommendations to you and what I will personally be purchasing from Sephora. I will be including screenshots from the Sephora app since it’s easier to do that for a post like this than to make so many screen-grabs and I hope that this is ok with you guys!
THIS IS GONNA BE A LONG POST!
If you haven’t heard of what an “anti-haul” is, it is basically the opposite of a wishlist. I believe this was something created by Kimberly Clark, who is an amazing artist, and these are one of my most favourite videos to watch on YouTube. In the age of super-materialism and over-saturation of makeup releases on the market, these videos really help keep me grounded and not to get swept up in the hype or the FOMO!
Here are 3 things in my anti-cart.
Something I love to do (and may be kind of a bad habit) is putting things in my virtual shopping carts and then removing them/closing the app or webpage because I couldn’t bring myself to take a plunge and make the purchase. Maybe this is a good thing! For my wallet/bank account at least.
I thought I’d share some of these items with you 🙂
First and foremost, I would like to apologize for the condition of some of the blushes as a couple of them are fairly well used (one of them I had even hit pan on already), so I hope you won’t be too put off by the photos coming up.
Check out my faves!
With the arrival of spring, I have totally jumped on the decluttering bandwagon. I have cleared out a lot of my eyeshadow palettes by selling gently used (still new) and brand new items on a beauty buy and sell page (maybe I will blog about this some other time).
I couldn’t bring myself to get rid of this palette. It was a graduation gift to me from a friend, and I have barely used it.
However, I feel that I should get rid of it because it’s almost 5 years old!
