If you haven’t heard of what an “anti-haul” is, it is basically the opposite of a wishlist. I believe this was something created by Kimberly Clark, who is an amazing artist, and these are one of my most favourite videos to watch on YouTube. In the age of super-materialism and over-saturation of makeup releases on the market, these videos really help keep me grounded and not to get swept up in the hype or the FOMO!
I remember spending an entire weekend just watching videos on YouTube of people cleaning out their closets/makeup collection/entire house and it was so addicting and almost therapeutic. It seems like something that is super popular right now, thanks to books like “The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up” by Marie Kondo and documentaries such as “Minimalism: A Documentary About the Important Things”. I have to admit, I haven’t read or watched either of these, but I guess their influence is widespread enough to get me inspired to share with you 3 ways that I declutter my stuff.
Something I love to do (and may be kind of a bad habit) is putting things in my virtual shopping carts and then removing them/closing the app or webpage because I couldn’t bring myself to take a plunge and make the purchase. Maybe this is a good thing! For my wallet/bank account at least.
This is going to be a pretty random post because I stopped blogging back in May 2017 (who is surprised, really?) and I really wanted to do something simple for this blog post. People like lists, right? So here’s a list of things I have been enjoying/have enjoyed in the last 9 months. [Gosh I really need to be more consistent with this blogging thing!]
I know this post is pretty much a month late, and I am sorry about that. May has been a month of ups and downs, and I am just now trying to get back into the groove. Here are some photos from the EMHAC Pancakes and Promises event on April 30th this year!
Happy Monday everyone! It’s the first day of May (a.k.a. the first REAL day of spring according to my books), and the sun was out too! I finally booked my appointment to get my tires changed and hopefully this nice weather is here to stay. Fingers crossed!
First and foremost, I would like to apologize for the condition of some of the blushes as a couple of them are fairly well used (one of them I had even hit pan on already), so I hope you won’t be too put off by the photos coming up.
